1st PLACE @ Big Horn Canyon Ranch Shoot!
Mon, 03/22/2010 - 05:11
Ok, I am putting this out here, cuz I know Chad probably wouldn't! But today was the 14th Shoot @ the Big Horn Canyon Ranch, put on by Cherry Valley, this is one of the few shoots where they offer a Hunters Class....and DIY Team Member Chad Martin took 1st Place! Of course I had to break Chad away from heavy chit chat since he never pays attention to who wins what!! They also had some fun money shoots, one of which was a HUGE Bisen! The first shot was about 60 yrds and for the shoot off they moved it back to about 80 yrds.... I am not sure who actually won that shot, but a ton of guys shot it, including Chad and everyone seemed to be having a great time! It was a great day, with BEAUTIFULL WEATHER!!! We had a really good time! This is one of the ways Chad keeps his Bow in use when its not hunting season! Great Practice!

Congratulations, Chad! Well done. Love the last photo, too. Tiffany, did you take that?
Chad, nice meeting you yesterday, too.

Yeah! I just fallow him around snapping away!! lol
Al, Very nice to meet you. That day was crazy for me. I wish I could have stayed longer, I had T-ball pic's that morning, my 12 year olds birthday party at 2 pm that I was a little late to opp's LOL! and then to top it all off opening day of T-ball at 6 pm. It was a long day. The wife and I are thinking of coming down that way to go eat at The Fish Co. Maybe hook up and B.S. The shoot was a blast I felt like I shot good all day except for 3 targets. The buffalo target was real fun.
I wonder how many arrows went past that Buffalo? Looks like they could have gone a long ways.
Thanks for the pic's. We are still waiting for green grass and shorts up here.
It's not the speed, it's the shot placement
Congrats Chad!! Maybe one day the whole team can show up with you to root you on.
