With deer season and the holidays, it's been to tough to get out and find a pig. Had my eye on a gnarly boar that showed up on my trail cam a few times in the past months. I set up where he'd been rooting, and sure enough, he and a sow he'd been running with came in to root. Problem is/was, he is way to cagey and winded my right away and after a brief glimpse of him (and what a beast he is), he retreated to the thick stuff. The sow, however, stayed around long enough experience the business end of a Carbon Express Blue Streak Select, tipped with a RazorTrick. Made a pretty good 24 yard shot and let the air out of her within twenty-five yards. Drag out was tough (solo hunt) and murder on the lower back. Two hours later I was back at the truck, exhusted but happy. about 220lbs and should be very tasty!

Very nice, I'm working very hard to find a place near my home in OC to hunt and set some trail cams. Nice start to a new year.

Congrats! That must have been tough to drag that heavy thing out. But it sure would be worth it!

Nice work there. Those solo hunts are murder on the back.  You will be eating good.  Congrats!
