My brother fowarded me this story from Yahoo News.

In this Thursday Oct 28, 2009 photo, Hunter Adam Stagner and Matt Pryor killed this 780-pound feral hog in north Mobile County, Ala. The massive beast is one of the biggest free-ranging hogs ever bagged by a hunter. The boar measured 6 feet 11 inches long, had a neck girth of 51 inches, stood an estimated 44 inches tall and had 3 1/2 inch-long cutter, bottom tusks.

I read that, too. What a beasty! I can't wait to head up north this winter to bag one or two of my own. The next time my buddy goes we'll have to plan the trip.

Nice that is a FAT hog. I have hogs running around my spot that are 3 feet tall & bigger. I can say without a dought that they are 300+ pounds. makes me wonder how much they really weigh
