Well it all started about 23 years ago when i was about 5 years old, shooting birds and squirls with my remington pellet gun. Fishing was deffenintly on my aggenda also, but as i grew older bowhunting became my passion. I have always loved a chalenge and there is nothing that fullfills that better than sneeking up on an animal and drawing back my bow at 20 yrds letting one fly straight through the pump station, now thats a rush. I also love the Lord, and he gives me the patience to make those awesome stalks. GENESIS 27:3 Now then, get your weapons-your quiver and bow-and go out to the opencountry to hunt some wild game for me.
Dang, that's a loaded question. Are you looking for safety or hunting? I am going to be the difficult one here (usually am) and play Devil's Advocate. I'll post my top three for safety and then top three must haves for hunting. These are subject to change on any given hunt. :)
Safety:
1. First Aid Kit
2. SPOT Locator
3. Potable Aqua

I agree with Al, that is a tough question. If I am going for a day hike I can get by with very little but if I plan on staying one or more nights my "must have" list get much longer.
But your question was specific 3 things in our pack, of coarse your going to have your bow, your bow does not fit in your pac, maybe on it but not in it, so your all good as am i.

Very true! Unless you go with these guys: TNT Bows. Anyone shoot these?
Then again, that's just one of the exceptions. You guys are all correct. I stand corrected. :)

Good point with the extra arrows but if we are prioritizing I definately think sunblock and lots of it you never know when your raft might tip over and you lose it and you come home blistered might happen. He can't afford to risk it with his "condition".
You are killing me over here! SPF 100, some steel toed raft shoes... and then some extra arrows. Too funny, Jon, too funny.

Ya, leave Eric alone. I have your back on this one Eric. Don't be given Eric a hard time about needing sunblock because he does not need any of that girl stuff. Lets face it, sunblock does not even make sense when he will be in the tent sleeping all day. Sunblock, please!!
