i am looking into getting a bow for my wife she has shot before and enjoyed it but then she quit im looking at the diamond razor edge for her but am open to suggestions of what you guys think thanks
I got my wife the Diamond razor edge a couple years ago. She just wanted to shoot at the range with me and wont be hunting any time soon. She picked the pink camo limbs and loves the bow. I got here razor because of the huge range it has, from 30 to 60 lbs with the same limbs. Its a great starter bow for her. That being said she is looking for a new one now and have it narrowed down to the Mathews Jewel and the Bowtech Heartbreaker. the only reason she wants to change is the choice of a risor in pink.
That's what my wife shoots as well is the Diamond Razor Edge. She isn't a hunter but loves to go to 3-D shoots and overall this has been a great starter bow for her. She loves it and it is comfortable for her to shoot. I was going to suggest the Mathews Jewel or Bowtech Heartbreaker as well for hunting but at the same time my brother's wife has hunted with her Diamond Razor and it has performed excellent for her. She shot her first deer last year from her tree stand.
Most "womens" bows are just kids bows painted pink. If you have a lady who wants to hunt side by side with you.....look at the Strother Hope. Strong enough for a man but built for a lady!
We bought my son the Diamond Razor Edge for Christmas. It is a great bow. Draw length only goes to 29 in, but it will fling an arrow if you can crank up the draw wait.
Is she looking to shoot it with you or hunt with you?

That would be my question as well. It depends if she is planning on just shooting with you at the range or if she is planning on hunting with you.
