Broadhead test
Sat, 08/08/2009 - 20:49
Team DIY will be performing a broadhead test here shortly. The test will be done with the same bow- (Hoyt Alphamax 32) set at 70#, also using the same arrow (Easton FMJ). All shots will be @ 10 yards at a 1/2" piece of plywood. We will measure the penetration and durability of each head. Each broadhead will be shot intel it is too damaged witch will also be noted, at the end one member of the team will shoot each broadhead side by side with field points on video to show the difference between field point accuracy, if any. We ask from you members if you have any broadhead suggestions that you would like to see tested? We already have a few lined up but want to hear some more, so let us know. |

Along with the G5 already mentioned above, my other favorite broadhead is the Shuttle T Lock.
I saw the shuttle T go right through a bear skull. It didnt kill him, but he was super pissed.

I'd be super pissed too!
Poor shot placement (or poor ethics) making an archery shot for the head...
Carbon Express F-15 Fixed and Mech. I like the looks of the fixed model.
