Gold Tip vs Carbon Express
Sun, 07/10/2011 - 00:14
This week I compared my Carbon Express Maxima 3D Select 250's (27 1/2 ") to my Gold Tip Vapor Pro Series 400 (28") - basically the same weight. CX3D250's grouped tighter overall BUT GTVPS400 produced a robinhood VIDEO - http://youtu.be/tzYtn1N49Do CARBON EXPRESS PICTURE https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150306669961095&set=a.47968655... While I love a Robin Hood (congrats by the way) I would take the tighter groups over it any day. Wicked tight group, too. Well done on all fronts.
Let's talk arrows tomorrow. Never tried either and love hearing about different brands.

Al,
Great spending time with you guys today and thanks for the interview. Also, thanks a ton for spending so much time with me. I'm with you... tighter group... SO ... I am thinking I'll look for Carbon Express 250's even though I shoot 63-65 lb and that is on the line between 250's and 350's. just saw on camofire.com what you were talking about. Aramid KV 250's 1DZ for $97. Thinking I might have to go ahead and snag'm. If I get'm I'll need to connect to cut and do inserts.
