Well I have been in California now for almost eight years and just started to get my feet wet on hunting out here.  I am from Wisconsin and have been bow hunting since I was old enough to pull back a bow.  Anyway I just went to OC archery to sight my bow in for my up coming bow hunt in Oklahoma, which wasn't successful, and tried to get some info on hunting the Angels National Forest.  One guy was help full, but without topo maps to show what he was talking about was kind of useless.  If anyone is out there that hunts A-31 and has some knowledge to help me out I would appreciate it very much.  I know I don't want to step on anyones toes in hopes that someone will show me there honeyhole, but really info would help out greatly.

Semper Fi,

Archie

Hi Archie. Welcome to the forum! Shoot me a message and I'll help you out. I hunt the ANF regularly. I am also a transplant (originally from NY) so I know what a pain it is to find good spots. I shoot over at El Dorado Park in Long Beach often if you are ever in that area. Archery Outpost in Los Alamitos has a nice short range and a great staff, too. Cheers!
