My season starts in mid August, and by 11:00 in the morning it's already pushing triple digits. Up till now I've wore cotton, which can't be the best. What do you guys wear?

I think that the blend fabrics are great. (under armor, sitka base layers etc...) They get the moisture off the skin and work great for warm and cold conditions. The truth is that I normally wear just cotton. When it gets too hot, you will normally find me back at camp in the shade with a cold beer.   LOL

I usually wear the Redhead base layer for warm weather and then a cotton shirt and a cottom/polyester blend pant. Sometimes it's the 50/50 blend for both. The base layer is good, but when it's triple digits it just going to be plain friggin HAWT! I like Eric's idea, but I will stick it out and stay until dark.

Midday I like to park myself in the shade of a tree and glass or snooze for an hour. Great time to recharge.

Cotton is horrible when your doing physical activity. I like to wear Under Armour and Russell APX. A good lightweight marino wool shirt is also a good way to go. I agree with Eric and Al, a good shadetree is also a good way to go.

 thanks guys,

I stopped at the UnderArmour Outlet store and they had n o camo clothing. I'll have to make a trip to the Manteca Bass Pro and check some out.

 Thanks again, T
