do you guys wash your hunting pack and put them up at the end of the year. i was  talking to an older man he dose this ever year at the end of the year then sprays it down with earth sent then put it away in a big  zipper bag.. it kinda make cents but ive never thought about it and its never seem to hurt me at all.

I have never done that. When I get them bloody I hang them up and hose them off but that is as much as I do.

I hose them off cause blood is corrosive to any metal and can also rot cloth if left for a long time. If leaving them bloody is working for you I would stick with that. Im not sure it would ever create a problem with a pack though.
