I have never done that. When I get them bloody I hang them up and hose them off but that is as much as I do.

I have never washed or even hosed out my packs. I am wondering if I should be???

I hose them off cause blood is corrosive to any metal and can also rot cloth if left for a long time. If leaving them bloody is working for you I would stick with that. Im not sure it would ever create a problem with a pack though.
