ya im guess he is about 250 - 300 pounds. about a 4 year old hog. ive seen him a couple times but he is always hiding behind a bush or tree and with how thick the cover is you only want to take the shot if you have a good one because if you miss the "pocket" you will never find the animal. even if it is a fatal shot you will never find it. so I do allot of hog watching before I take a shot.
my problem is I like to fill my freezer more than i like to hang mounts on the wall so if I get a shot at a smaller hog i'm going to take it even if there is a monster boar standing on the outside of my shooting lane. a hog down is a hog down..... plus the smaller ones taste better

the boars are the hardest to figure out cuz they have almost no routine to their day. its very random and it takes allot of work to find out where they are moving and when. the Sows and smaller pigs are easier to figure out tho because they will almost always follow the same pattern in & out of their bedding areas every night. its just a matter of waiting for them to get on a pattern that allows you to take one.
Nice photos, Chris! That first one is a bruiser.

That looks like way too much fun! We don't have hogs here but sometimes I wish we did.

Ya there are some monsters in this spot. my friend has a pic of a hog from here that is about 40 inches tall. were guessing about 400-450 pounds.
Having my hands full is a very good thing lol it's better than sitting at home watching hunting shows wishing I could go out and hunt...

This one came across my camera last week. I want to kill it.
I shoot a bow.
It's a pretty camo one.
I shoot a black one at targets,
and I heart Eric.
Here piggy, piggy, piggy! Nice looking hog!
