my first bull

Yesterday morning we went out chasing some bugles and ended up making a big loop and followed the elk across the canyon so we went over there and just waited because the elk had shut up and bedded down. when next thing i know my buddys waking me up from my power nap and telling me to get my stuff and lets go. someone had started shooting a rifle and it got the elk moving well it wasnt 5 minutes later we were on the hill and i seen some cows so we got in postion and just waited i watched the cows go about 40 yards above me on the hill and then the BIG bull was on top of the hill a little farther then i fill comfortable shooting then this bull kind of surprised me and gave me a perfect 20 yard shot i double lunged him and he only went about 35 yards and died. he has a cool little point off his main and a little split on his 4th        |
GOOD job. Gotta love the extra character on that head gear.
