Our First Bowfishing Trip
Wed, 06/20/2012 - 22:17
For Father's Day weekend my brother and dad decided to spend the afternoon chasing carp. This was the first time any of us had been out bowfishing but have always wanted to go. We were getting frustrated as we sat there waiting to see some carp near the boat but they decided to jump out of the water tempting us just out of shooting distance. We finally decided to walk the bank to see if we could see some carp near the edge. It was extremely muddy but patience paid off for us. The biggest was 9 pounds and the smallest was 7 1/2. We ended up with 6 total carp! You can read the story here: www.IdahoBoneCollector.com

Thanks ambush1... It definitely is addicting. This was our first time out and learned a lot but definitely will be back again that's for sure!

Awesome work!!! Love to get out in the spring when the carp are running in the streams and lakes here in Northeast South Dakota.
