San Gorgonio Sheep Tag!

I'm new to this site, learned about it from Ed F. He directed me here after I drew my Sheep tag this year. I see Eric was a lucky sheep hunter and I'm looking for all the info i can find. Terry Anderson called me the next day (don't know how he found me so soon?) but I'm not going to wait til the end of January and only hunt 10 days! My plan is to hunt 3 day weekends from the opener til the end of January if I can't connect by then I might contact Terry for help. But.... I would really like to do this myself. I am going "Bow Only" even if I have to eat it in the end. Any info would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! By the way....this looks like a great website! I'm planning on exploring more when I get home tonight |
Congrats!!! That is an awesome hunt and an amazing zone! My brother and I spent a lot of time up there for my hunt, i am more than willing to help you out in any way i can.

Nathan and I have a ton of info for that Hunt. Dont waste your money with a guide. I was just out there in the begining of June and saw 2 huge Rams. DFG will tell you that Rams are not down that far untill the first big snow in the high country, but they are there year round ( I am talking only a mile north of the 10 fwy.). Nathan and I were seeing 50 different sheep a day on his hunt. We learned a lot from that hunt.
I will be doing some seminars at Bass Pro Shops in Rancho next month for the Fall Hunting Classic. Lets get together and I will give you everything.
I can even take you out there and show you. I will be willing to hunt with you for FREE before I let you put money in Terry Andersons pocket.
