To kill or not to kill?????

What would you guys do? I have found a large male "exotic" goat hanging around the cliffs where I fish. He is definatly wild. He snorts and runs away when he sees me. The law says that he is legal to harvest, but some of the locals that see him view him as kind of a town pet. I know I will never put an arrow in him, but what would you do? It is tempting.......

I wouldnt shoot him. If times got hard and was I hungery then thats a different story.
Just keep enjoying seeing him when you go out
Boy, that's a tough call depending on if F&G wants the feral goats erradicated. If they want them gone and it's an open season what's to stop you from sending a carbon skewer into it? On the other hand, if it's one goat, how much damage is it really doing? Plus, it'll probably piss off a lot of the locals and you'd be shunned forever.
Think of it as good spot-n-stalk practice. If you can get closer and closer to it in different ways that'll get you ready for Coues deer and Mule deer season.
