Here's my two cents... I think that these cities that have an issue with coyotes AND firearms should allow the bow hunters to go out and set up near a travel route and bring them down. I have seen a few coyotes right in Los Alamitos where I live. They aren't afraid of jack nor shit. I think a meat missile would help do the trick.

Here's a map of the sightings in 2009 and has been updated recently.

Are you guys seeing an increase and what do you think should be done? Any comments are welcome. I want to hear exactly what you guys are thinking.

Up here in Idaho we are facing a different problem altogather. We shoot those pesky dog on the sight and it help keep them away from our towns, garbage cans, pet areas, and children parks, ect. But we do have wolves and they reproduce quite well with no, or very limited predators or compatition. Therefore our elk and deer populations have down down dramaticly. so my point is coyotes and wolves should be free game. I say let the carbon do the talkin, and put a rage in their cage.

I agree. It's up to the sportsman to keep these animals under control. I have a friend who lives in Chino and he told me last year a yotie attacked a child and was playing tug of war with the kid while the mom faught for her kids life. I bikeride with him a cupple times a month and I see at least 10 yoties every time we go... this is a major problem that needs to be delt with. yoties are a key animal to a ballanced ecosystem but if left unchecked it will throw everything off.
